East Linton Gala Day 2025👑

Drum+Drones were back again this year for East Linton's Gala Day 2025! Gala Days are week-long celebrations that occur throughout villages all across Scotland to bring together and celebrate the fantastic community spirit of local townspeople!

Even with Yellow Weatehr warnings, we battled the wind and rain by kicking off the parade followed by firefighters, volunteers, key workers, brownies, scouts and of course the Gala Court! A brillant showcase to all the visitors and locals! 🎶❤️

We arrived and escorted the Gala Court to the crowning ceremony, where they detailed the history and thanked all the hard work and events throughout the year.

A fun few bagpiping tunes of 500 Miles, We will rock you and Mamma Mia, entertained before heading on over to the bouncy castles, burger and pizza stalls, mini golf, craft fayre, sumo wrestling and many other activities. We had so much fun letting the kids bang on the drum, ask questions and feel how heavy our intraments really are! 😊
